At the end of Parshas Veyerah Rashi brings that Avraham was worried that he should have already married off Yitzchok and Hashem informed him of the birth of Rivka. If so, why did he send Eliezer on a wild goose chase and not just go after Rivka immediately?
Why did Avraham not know who Yitzchoks bride would be when Hashem had explicitly told him? [closed]

The news of the birth of Rivkah is only significant in hindsight (Rivkah was not the only great-granddaughter of Terach). At the time Rivkah was the preferred choice but Avraham had no way of being sure of it.
But Hashem told Nolad Bas Zugoi. That means his intended - Shmuel YaacovsonNov 13 '12 at 08:21
