Hiya all, welcome to Need An Eitzah. I thought I'd put this question first and then everyone will have somewhere to comment on just exactly what they think of this site. The next question will be dedicated to those features that users would like to see added to the site. Feature requests will be reviewed and if approved, added to the site.
Now for the question that just begs for an answer. Why are we creating such a site for frum Yidden when all the Gedolim at the moment are against the internet. The answer to this is very simple.
It has become clear that the web isn't going away, and it's uses are only growing. Frum Yidden therefore need a place where they can ask for professional help from their peers, especially on topics like internet filters. Most people haven't got the experience to know how to gain the most from a filter, and people here will hopefully fill them in.
