Is Tznius for a boy a minhag tov or halacha [closed]

When we change we are told to do it in an oifen tznua. Is this Halacha or is it just a minhag and the proper thing to do. What happens if it is hot, can a boy walk around (partially) undressed?

I agree with Dash. There is no need to walk around half un-dressed as a boy. Do not think for a second that women do not look at men the same way that men look at women - many do. Therefore, my boys and I all wear shirts when we swim in order to be more modest.

It is not Halacha. Girls do it because of beauty, boys do it for being Tznua in front of the King.

Tznius is a halacha for everyone. The difference between men and women is that women have an added issue of Lifnei Iver.
