Is one allowed to eat one's own skin? Obviously I dont mean taking a chunk out of your leg but a bit of lip skin here and there?

Using a wide backround of Halachic knowledge I can inform you that the mystics say its not a good thing at all, and that includes finger nails.I have to look up the source again but im confident that is the outcome.
