How have you managed to make for yourself a decent filter and deterence against abusing the internet

I am surprised that no one has asked this here. I came to this site after seeing it quoted on http://www.guardyoureyes.com and expected that someone would have asked this already. If people dont mind sharing thier experience, how have you managed to make the internet a safe place for yourself.

Is it through filtering? If so which one and to which level do you find you need?

Reporting methods? Do you find it enough of a deterenece?

I think it is a big Mitzvah if we can vote the best method for staying clean on the net!

I find that reporting does nothing for me because I am not going to send the report to a person close to me such as a spouse, and a random person wouldnt stop me. However with K9 filtering I think I have managed to make my computer safe! 99% of the time! The level that I need is extremely strict, because I find shmutz in all normal sites as well!
