I never understand why we all (myself included) hate to see other Yidden on Holiday. No one is more anti-semitic then a Yid on Holiday? What is it with us?

And I think that it is simply because you want to feel "exclusive". You don't want to see anyone you know, or may know, because you want to keep that feeling of "i'm getting away, and i chose this location to spend my vacation and i do hope that no one else has because that takes away the "MY" factor and i have to share the "coolness" of this vacation with someone else"
Many of us do things because of social pressure. Part of going on vacation is to relieve that pressure. This isn't strictly a Jewish issue.

There seems to be a desire to blend in as if you are not Jewish. A famous joke about a Frum Yid who got himself a "goyishe" looking haircut, clothing etc, went on vacation in the middle of nowhere, checked into a prestigious hotel and while checking in was approached by a man - thinking that he had finally pulled off the greatest "Goy" act of his life, The man says to him "Mincha in the front lobby at 7:00 pm".
Probably because you like doing things you shouldnt be doing and are afraid of getting caught. I myself have no problem with meeting other Yidden on Holiday
Because you see yourself in them and dont like it. You like to think of yourself as normal and blending into the Goyishe world and they remind you that you are frum and different!!!
