Thats it, i know that Belzers have a minhag to eat before davening, how do thery get round the Halacha forbidding it
why do Belzers eat before Davening?
The halacha is clear that if you are hungry enough that it will affect your concentration during davening, it is permitted to eat. They probably hold that nowadays people are normally in that state of hunger before breakfast.
they shouldn't eat so much and they would be able to hold on!!! - gadol hadorAug 14 '12 at 02:23

@gadolhador ×ž×”×™×›× ×ª×™×ª×™? Besides, when someone is starving their eating is not gayvah, so it bichlal doesn't pas to say they should try to put themselves in a matzav where they wouldn't have to eat. - Dov FAug 14 '12 at 07:07
